Fike is a globally recognized supplier of products and services that protect people and critical assets from dangers such as fire, explosion and over-pressurization. Fike manufactures solutions for a wide variety of industries and offers products ranging from rupture discs and explosion protection systems to fire suppression and fire alarm systems.
For speed in suppressing fires, reducing damages, saving on floor space and allowing visibility. FIKE Clean Agent Fire Protection System, which includes the use of HFC-227ea and FM-200, leaves no residue and doesn't require costly clean-up, unlike sprinklers and other fire protection systems. And it discharges in 10 seconds or less, extinguishing a fire quickly and effectively.
Fike's Clean Agent System uses Fike's patented rupture disc valve design offering additional flexibility, effectiveness and speed. That translates into minimal equipment / facility damage and little or no business interruption.
Fike's Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems are great in applications ranging from telecommunications and data processing to switch gear rooms, military applications and cell sites to high-tech medical applications. HFC-227ea fire suppression is also a widely accepted replacement for Halon 1301.
With a Fike designed fire protection system you can count on Speed and efficiency in your fire protection
Fike is known worldwide as an innovator in fire suppression equipment and fire protection technology. Now, we are expanding our clean agent fire suppression offering with the addition of IMPULSE Technology to our ECARO-25® and HFC-227ea systems.
With over 60 years experience, Fike is known as the leader in rupture disc technology. Using that knowledge, Fike has designed the most effective fire suppression container valve available. After extensive engineering and testing, the Impulse technology combines the highest standards for performance with simplified operation and maintenance.
Since its European introduction in 2003, Fike's innovative ProInert® has become widely accepted as one of the best performing, most cost-effective, and environmentally friendly inert gas fire extinguishing systems. Now that same technology is available in the United States, and other parts of the world requiring UL and FM approval.
Fike's ProInert offers all the benefits of other inert gas systems with several significant design improvements - enhancements that not only mean a superior product, but savings to your bottom line!
Most inert gas systems discharge from the nozzle into the protected space with a high surge flow rate, creating a hazardous pressure peak. These systems use pressure reducers further down the pipe network in order to mitigate safety issues, but also require both high-pressure and low-pressure piping.
Because of its unique patented valve assembly, the ProInert agent enters the protected room within the industry required 60 seconds, but at a steady flow rate -- preventing destructive turbulence from occurring. This constant flow rate means you can use small-diameter, low pressure (and less expensive) piping from the inert gas container, all the way to the nozzle. And the necessary venting area is much smaller - reducing installation costs by as much as 60% on venting hardware.
ProInert's patented constant flow rate valve translates into a system that is not only safer for your staff and facility, but also saves you money.
Carbon dioxide or CO2 is a colorless, odorless, electrically non-conductive gas...that's highly efficient as a fire suppression agent. Carbon dioxide gas has a high rate of expansion, which allows a Fike CO2 fire protection system to work fast.
When applied to a fire, CO2 provides a heavy blanket of gas that reduces the oxygen level to a point where combustion cannot occur. Since carbon dioxide is a gas, there is no clean-up associated with a Fike CO2 fire suppression system discharge...that's minimal interruption to your business.
Fike's CO2 fire suppression system is extremely versatile, effective on a wide range of flammable and combustible materials and approved for Class A, B, and C hazards.
Fike Carbon Dioxide fire protection systems are available for use in total flooding or local fire protection applications - making it an effective fire protection system for a wide variety of hazards.
